Thanda Tented Camp offers an authentic safari adventure with 15 luxury safari tents in an evocative bush setting, enhanced by flickering firelight and lanterns guiding your way at night. Each of the tents has a private sun deck and en-suite canvas bathrooms. The shared areas include a large rim-flow pool, a spa tent, atmospheric Hemingway-style lounge and dining area featuring authentic African artworks.

There are a total of 8 suites, each overlooking the (usually dry) Mutlumuvi riverbed. The river flows only when there is heavy localised rainfall as its catchment is very small with the source only about 30 kilometers from the lodge. When it does flow, it is a sight to behold, but it subsides almost as quickly as it fills up.

Resting lightly upon the ground within a 33,000 acre, private concession in the Kruger National Park, Singita Sweni Lodge is nestled beautifully amongst hundreds of trees at the edge of the Sweni River.
