Thonga Beach Lodge sits within the 332 000 hectare iSimangaliso Wetland Park, which was declared a UNESCO world Heritage site in 1992; and is the perfect place to unwind.  The Lodge is positioned on the edge of the pristine white sands on the shores of the Indian ocean and close to Lake Sibaya, making it an ideal location to partake in various water activities from Scuba diving, snorkeling, and kayaking.

 

At a more sedate pace try a turtle tour, guided forest walk, simply lazing on the stunning viewing deck or take a stroll along the beautiful water’s edge.

Thonga Beach Lodge has a variety of suites available to guests including a large Deluxe Family Suite with stunning ocean views, two en-suite bedrooms, private deck and plunge pool. Ocean View Suites, each with a large open plan bedroom and viewing deck to the secluded Forest View Suites with open plan bedrooms and private decks.

 

Each of the suites boasts a king size bed, air-conditioning, overhead fans, double vanities, showers, mini bars and hairdryers.

The lodge also offers relaxing spa treatments.

Thonga Beach Lodge offers guests a number of activities including Guided Snorkeling in the Indian Ocean (equipment provided), SCUBA Diving (equipment to hire – tuition available PADI Dive Centre), Open Ocean Experience, Turtle Tracking, Kayaking on Lake Sibaya, Sundowner Excursion to Lake Sibaya, Mabibi Cultural Tour and Guided Forest Walks.
