Accommodation

The accommodation at Garonga Safari Camp reflects the surrounding bush. It offers a real "home away from home" experience, where service is professional and friendly, yet unobtrusive.

 

Each of the six en-suite luxury units is sculpted out of rough-plastered walls and overarching canvas tents. The tents are situated overlooking a dry riverbed, and have a wooden deck complete with hammock that commands spectacular views. The rooms are light, airy and spacious with large, draped beds and indoor/outdoor showers.

Waterbuck Game Lodge is uniquely positioned adjacent to a water estuary in the Southern part of The Thornybush Nature Reserve, and provides extraordinary wildlife diversity within the confines of a closely located watering hole and abundant birdlife.

 

Waterbuck is truly a "home from home" with centralised entertaining accommodation of warm and comfortable proportions, flanked by individually located bedroom suites accessed through pathways a few yards from each other providing both privacy and security, individual views from suites and bathrooms, generous dressing rooms en-suite for added comfort and convenience.

With a capacity of only four exclusive suites, n'Kaya Lodge offers the discerning guest the very best in privacy and is the ideal destination for a quiet, peaceful safari. Set on the crest of a hill that overlooks the Drakensberg mountain range and shaded by tall trees, n'Kaya Lodge boasts spacious double suites each with private lounges and twin en-suite amenities.

 

This lodge boasts too, an excellent bar, dining and lounge facilities and an outside Boma area for night time dining.

The majestic Northern Drakensberg Mountains provide a spectacular backdrop to the understated luxury found at the Big Five Jackalberry Lodge. The luxury accommodation for up to 16 guests creates a restful ethnic ambience in harmony with nature. Attention to detail and true South African hospitality will charm guests and leave them with a true sense of real beauty and warmth.

This comfortable and intimate Lodge on the banks of a tributary to the dry Monwana River, accommodates eight guests in varied accommodation choices. There are three luxury Suites, each with excellent vistas from both bedroom and bathroom large windows to the watering hole.

 

As an alternative for families, is a family suite, completely self contained with three suites, two downstairs and one suite upstairs, a reception room with open fireplace between the two downstairs bedrooms. Guests can choose which accommodation choice best suits their requirements, but to a maximum of eight guests.

Monwana Game Lodge is designed with Africa in mind, from draped bed posts to wraparound wooden verandas. After a day's game viewing guests can spend their evenings either watching herds of impala stroll by in the comfort of their own private decks, spending quality time with their little ones in the privacy of their own front gardens, or enjoying candle lit intimacy with a significant other – whilst a personalised service and world class cuisine wait on you.

 

Monwana Game Lodge also hosts an outdoor swimming pool just a minutes' walk from all suites and central gazebo.

Washed with the warmth and color of the afternoon sun and in true African style, luxury tents overlook the magnificent bushveld. It is here that guests while away moments relaxing and reflecting on the tranquillity and intimacy afforded by this small camp. Eight comfortable tents, each with private facilities and feature bushveld bath, connected by pathways with the main Camp.

 

Meals are taken together to afford the opportunity for all guests to share the excitement of the day’s game viewing experiences. Situated a few minutes’ drive from the lodge, spa treatments are available to all guests.

Set on the banks of a tranquil lake encompassed with breath-taking views of the African bushveld, Thornybush Waterside Lodge affords instant relaxation. The lodges 20 comfortably appointed air-conditioned Thatched Suites blend into the natural habitat and are located along pathways surrounded by an abundance of trees and manicured gardens.  En-suite air-conditioned accommodation tastefully decorated by crisp white bedding.

 

Highly skilled rangers and trackers ensure Big 5 game viewing opportunities during dawn and dusk safaris, whilst bushwalks are for the more adventurous.
