Zambezi Expeditions is located on the banks of the Zambezi River within the famous Mana Pools National Park and is the ideal camp for any adventurers amongst us as, whilst very comfortable, this camp is designed thrill guests with the sights and sounds of the African bush rather than the luxuriousness of the accommodation.

 

Guests will get a real feel for Africa at this camp.

 

Zambezi Expeditions is open during the dry season (April – November).

The accommodation at Zambezi Expeditions consists of just six comfortable Meru style tents each with double or twin beds.  The en-suite facilities include a basin with hot water, a bucket shower and toilet.

 

Each tent has seating with stunning views out over the Zambezi.

The facilities on offer at Zambezi Expeditions are limited due to the nature of the camp but do include a mess tent for dining, lounge area and bar.  Meals are usually taken around the camp fire overlooking the stunning Zambezi River.

Activities

Activities

Zambezi Expeditions offers guests an opportunity to explore the wild bush of Mana Pools National Park in the experienced hands of highly qualified guides.  Game drives are conducted in the morning and afternoon in purpose built open game drive vehicles.  We also highly recommend you accompany your guide on a bush walk safari, your guide will point out wildlife, animal tracks along with the unique plant life of Mana Pools.

 

Water based activities are also offered here include canoeing, which is a wonderful way to see this stunning part of the world.  Catch and release fishing is also available to guests.
