Set in the stunning 30 000 hectare Pongola Game Reserve, which includes Lake Jozini, you’ll find White Elephant Safari Lodge. This is a place passionate about nature conservation and offers a unique insight into ongoing Elephant research projects and gives guests a behind the scenes look at conservation operations that are conducted onsite.
At so slower pace, enjoy the beautiful scenery on offer here whilst cruising along Lake Jozini or a nature walk at the foot of the Lebombo mountains.

White Elephant Safari Lodge has eight private luxurious safari style tents, each with king size beds, free standing baths, outdoor showers and private verandas.
Facilities
The main lodge is of a colonial style of a bygone era with a large covered veranda to enjoy a refreshing glass of wine in the afternoon. Freshly made afternoon tea is served on the veranda prior to your afternoon game drive.
The lodge also has a large swimming pool to cool off from the African heat, a guest lounge and small library.

Here there is so much to do you will be hard pressed to fit everything in. From water based activities, such as catch and release Tiger fishing, canoeing and boat cruises to research activities such as the ‘Elephanting’ experience and Black Rhino tracking on foot.
Educational nature walks, visits to the research centre and conventional game drives in open game drive vehicles are also available.
