Set in the tree canopy of the private Kandahar Island on banks of the mighty Zambezi River is the setting of Victoria Falls Island Treehouses, a stunning camp close to the world famous Falls.  Here you can participate in both land and water-based activities or simply sit on your private deck and watch the wildlife come to you.

Victoria Falls Island Treehouse has just five luxury treehouses, including the ‘Starbed’ treehouse, each with twin or king size beds draped with dreamy mosquito netting, indoor seating area with luxurious soft furnishings and tea & coffee making facilities and mini bar.  The en-suite facilities include indoor rain shower, indoor/outdoor free standing bathtub, single vanity and separate w.c.

 

Step through your doors and relax on your private veranda with cosy seating and plunge pool whilst gazing at your stunning view of the Zambezi River.

Activities

Activities available to guests at River Lodge include exploring the wild bush of Zambezi National Park in the experienced hands of highly qualified guides.  Twice daily game drives are conducted in the early mornings and afternoons. Try a bush walk, where your guide will point out the smaller things within the park such as animal spoor, unique plants and trees along with the numerous birds that call this park home.

 

Take a guided tour of the famous Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwe side. Scenic helicopter flights can be arranged or take to the waters of the Zambezi for catch and release fishing, white water rafting or a stunning river boat cruise to watch the beautiful African sun set for another day.
