Set on the banks of the great Zambezi River, just a 20 minute drive from Victoria Falls is the beautifully designed Thorntree River Lodge.  All the suites have uninterrupted views of the mighty Zambezi River.

 

A Thorntree River Lodge you can participate a plethora of land and water based activities from a safari game drive into the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, a gentile boat cruise down the river to invigorating white water rafting in the rapids of the Zambei River or bungie jumping into the gorge. With such a multitude of activities to choose from you will never be short of new experiences.

The accommodation at Thorntree River Lodge consists of twelve luxury suites, including two family suites) each looking out onto the Zambezi River and boast king size beds wrapping in swathes of netting for a romantic feel.

 

The en-suite facilities includes a double vanity, outdoor shower and free standing bathtub. The family suites have two bedrooms with separate en-suite facilities.

 

You also have a private deck with a variety of seating and a plunge pool all to yourself.

The guest facilities on offer at Thorntree River Lodge include a floating deck with guesting fire pit and stunning views out into the river. A sparkling pool also with views of the river and lounging and bar area, viewing decks, a spa treatment room and gym.

 

Guests can dine in the dining room, outside under the stars or privately on your very own veranda.

The activities available to guests staying at Thorntree River Lodge include game drives in open safari vehicles and rhino bush walks into the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, canoeing, boat cruises or try your hand at tiger fishing, excursions to Victoria Falls and cultural experiences are also included.

 

Optional activities include a scenic helicopter flight over Victoria Falls and white water rafting on the Zambezi River or take a leap and give bungee jumping a go, the choice is yours.
