Plettenberg Bay offers wonderful whale watching opportunities on both land and sea. The whale watching season runs from May to November, when the Southern Right Whales make their journey along the coast of South Africa to breed and calve in the shallow waters of Walker Bay.

There are miles of white sandy beaches for romantic strolls, swimming, kayaking or skimboarding. Visit the Tenikwa Wildlife Centre, a rehabilitation and release centre or Monkeyland, a free roaming primate sanctuary or the Radical Raptors, a rehabilitation centre for rescued birds of prey.
