Sauvti Camp is located within the Linyanti Concession along the Savuti Channel and is unique in as far as the habitats change greatly during the seasons from waterways to mopani woodlands, making this camp an ideal place for all round game viewing.

 

Whilst Savuti is known for its large elephant population, you can also expect to see large numbers of predators in the area such as lion, leopard and cheetah.

Sauvti Camp consists of just seven tents, including one family unit. Each with twin or king size beds wrapped in swaths of mosquito netting and comfortable soft furnishings and fittings.  The en-suite facilities include an indoor shower, double vanities and separate w.c.  The family unit consists of two bedrooms with separate bathrooms and a shared deck.

 

Each suite includes a private wooden deck with seating and views of the African bush.

The facilities available at Savuti Camp includes a fire deck and log pile hide situated in front of the camp.  Guests can dine either indoors, out on deck or in the traditional African boma.

 

A lounge, viewing deck and plunge pool complete the facilities on offer at this camp.

Activities

The Okavango Delta offers guests an opportunity to explore the wild bush of Africa in the experienced hands of highly qualified guides.  Game drives are conducted in the morning and early evening when the predators are active in purpose built open game drive vehicles.  We highly recommend you accompany your guide on a bush walk, your guide will point out animal tracks along with the unique plant life of the Okavango Delta.

 

The perfect way to explore the waterways of the Okavango Delta is by boat, your guide with gently steer you through this stunning setting pointing out all the wildlife along the way, meander through the Delta enjoying the magically scenery as you go.
