Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge is a premier lodge set in the heart of the Okavango Delta.  Set overlooking pristine permanent channels of crystal clear water, this lodge has been beautifully designed to resemble the armour of an African pangolin and really is one of the most luxurious lodges to be found in the Delta.

 

The game drives conducted in the area never disappoint as this area is renowned for its high density of game and predator sightings.

The accommodation at Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge is of the highest quality with twelve suites, including one family suite, all boasting twin or king size beds, comfortable seating with fireplace.  The en-suite facilities include both indoor and outdoor showers, double vanities and separate w.c.

The facilities on offer at Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge include a split level wooden viewing deck with numerous fires and open plan seating.  They also have an extensive and unique bar and dining area on deck.

 

Step down into ground level and you will find a traditional African boma with a fire pit for dining under the stars. Sandibe also offers guests a wellness centre where you’ll find a relaxing spa or invigorating gym.

Activities

The Okavango Delta offers guests an opportunity to explore the wild bush of Africa in the experienced hands of highly qualified guides.  Game drives are conducted in the morning and early evening when the predators are active in purpose built open game drive.

 

If the opportunity presents itself, we highly recommend you accompany your guide on a bush walk to experience the African bush in the most natural way possible, your guide will point out animal tracks along with the unique plant life of the Okavango Delta. You can also take to the sky’s by helicopter and witness the African bush from above.
