The Qorokwe Concession is renowned for its high density of game due to its location sandwiched between two waterways, allowing for excellent wildlife sightings throughout the year. Both land and water-based safari activities are available at Qorokwe.

 

The lodge has been built on elevated platforms overlooking a stunning lagoon, where you can sit and watch the wildlife pass by.

The accommodation on offer at Qorokwe consists of a total of nine tents including one family unit, each including twin or king size beds draped with mosquito netting and lounge areas with sumptuous contemporary décor.  The en-suite facilities include an indoor shower, which opens out to views of the African bush, free standing bath and double vanities. The family unit includes two bedrooms and bathrooms, fireplace and private plunge pool.

 

The private deck includes a comfortable lounging area and magical views of the beautiful lagoon; the perfect spot to watch the wildlife pass by.

The facilities on offer at Qorokwe include a spectacular fire pit at ground level, ideal for pre-dinner drinks and a catch-up with your fellow guests.  Meals are taken in the dining room or out in the traditional boma under the stars.

 

Relax in the lounge area on unique hanging beds or wonder out into the sun deck, take a dip in the pool, or treat yourself to an in-room spa treatment.

The Okavango Delta offers guests an opportunity to explore the wild bush of Africa in the experienced hands of highly qualified guides.  Game drives are conducted in the morning and early evening when the predators are active in purpose built open game drive vehicles.  We highly recommend you accompany your guide on a bush walk, your guide will point out animal tracks along with the unique plant life of the Okavango Delta.

 

The perfect way to explore the Delta is by traditional mokoro, your guide with gently steer you through this stunning setting pointing out all the wildlife along the way, or simply meander through the Delta in a purpose built motor boat enjoying the magically scenery as you go.
