Phinda is famous for its excellent sightings of the elusive but stunning cheetah as well as its work in rhino conservation.  Often referred to as ‘Seven Worlds of Wonder’ Phinda benefits from seven distinct ecosystems making it a diverse and stunning reserve. 

 

In excess of 400 bird species have been recorded at Phinda, so not only if it a perfect place for a Big 5 safari but also for the avid birders amongst us.

Phinda Homestead consists of four en-suite bedrooms, a child’s room can be made available at an additional cost.

 

Each of the four bedrooms boasts a king size bed (convertible to twins should it be requested) both indoor and outdoor showers, bath, air-conditioning, fan and hairdryers.

The main area has an extensive wooden deck, rim flow swimming pool and rim flow pond, cozy fire deck with seating area, both indoor and al fresco dining facilities including a private boma, mini gym, library and spa treatment room.

 

Included at Zula is a dedicated ranger, tracker, butler and chef.

Twice-daily game drives in open game drives vehicles and guided bush walks with a highly qualified ranger.

 

Optional Phinda Adventures Activities: Zulu village tours, Maputaland beach adventures, night turtle drives (seasonal), scuba safaris, an ocean safari, black rhino tracking on foot. Specialist Safaris include birding, photographic, rhino capture and research, Specialist Walking Safari, family and private safaris.
