Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp is a premier lodge set in the heart of the Okavango Delta.  Situated overlooking a stunning lagoon, Nxabega is one of the Delta’s hidden gems.  The guest suites are raised on wooden platforms with private salas with unique seating in which to gaze out into the African bush.

 

The game drives and water safaris conducted in this area never disappoint as the area is renowned for its high density of game and predator sightings.

The accommodation at Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp consists of nine tents, including one family tent, all boasting twin or king size beds, comfortable seating with views of the African bush.  The en-suite facilities include both indoor and outdoor showers, double vanities and separate w.c.

 

Your private veranda includes a comfortable seating area along with a sala with unique swing sofa.

The facilities on offer at Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp include a wooden viewing deck with numerous open plan seating areas.  They also have a bar and dining area on deck.

 

Step down into ground level and you will find a traditional African boma with a fire pit for dining under the stars. Nxabega also offers guests a wellness centre where you’ll find a relaxing spa.

The Okavango Delta offers guests an opportunity to explore the wild bush of Africa in the experienced hands of highly qualified guides.  Game drives are conducted when the predators are active in purpose built open game drive vehicles. If possible, we highly recommend you accompany your guide on a bush walk to experience the African bush in the most natural way possible, your guide will point out animal tracks along with the unique plant life of the Delta.

 

The perfect way to explore the waterways is by traditional mokoro, your guide with gently steer you through this stunning setting pointing out all the wildlife along the way or simply meander through the Delta in a purpose built motor boat enjoying the magically scenery as you go.
