Ngala Tented Camp is situated in the Timbavati Game Reserve and has traversing rights within the famous Kruger National Park.  This lodge enjoys some of the best game viewing on offer with spectacular ‘Big 5’ sightings plus the elusive cheetah and wild dog make this a ‘Super Seven’ destination.

The main lodge has a stunning sun deck and sparkling rim-flow lap pool with views over the Timbavati River. Guests are invited to sit and watch the wildlife come down to drink whilst sipping on a refreshing drink.

 

There’s also a cosy lounge area for guests to relax.  Dining is usually either in the charming dining tent or out on the riverbed.

Early morning and late afternoon game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles traverse an area of 14 700 hectares (36 000 acres) and strict vehicle limits at sightings ensure the exclusivity of the game viewing experience. Sensitive off-road driving ensures that guests have the best possible view of any exceptional sighting and rangers are constantly in touch with each other to keep track of animal movements.

 

Interpretive bush walks are also available to guests wanting to experience the African bush on foot.
