Ngala is situated in the Timbavati Game Reserve and has traversing rights within the famous Kruger National Park.  This lodge enjoys some of the best game viewing on offer with spectacular ‘Big 5’ sightings plus the elusive cheetah and wild dog make this a ‘Super Seven’ destination.

Ngala Safari Lodge boasts 22 cottages comprising of seventeen one bedroom cottages, three family cottages with two en-suite bedrooms and one family suite boasting its own private pool.

 

Each of the cottages and suites include king size beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, private verandas ideal for romantic dining, baths and both indoor and outdoor showers.


Ngala Treehouse is a remote, overnight retreat, offering you a luxurious private sanctuary and the ultimate sleep-under-the- stars experience.

The main lodge has a stunning sun deck and sparkling rim-flow swimming pool where elephants have been to come to drink, it also overlooks the lodge’s active waterhole.

 

Guests are invited use the lodge Fitness Centre or lodge spa or relax in their own suite with an in-room massage.

 

A traditional African boma allows guests to experience an authentic African dining experience.

Early morning and late afternoon game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles traverse an area of 14 700 hectares (36 000 acres) and strict vehicle limits at sightings ensure the exclusivity of the game viewing experience. Sensitive off-road driving ensures that guests have the best possible view of any exceptional sighting and rangers are constantly in touch with each other to keep track of animal movements.

 

Interpretive bush walks are also available to guests wanting to experience the African bush on foot.
