Nine stilted treehouse suites, crafted from local timber and makuti palm fronds, boast a sophisticated blend of intimacy and romance, offering privacy and exclusivity in the cool, leafy surroundings, which often has elephant visitors passing through.
The sophisticated treehouse suites are graced by the sounds of the forest. Each exclusive treehouse offers guests a private eye into the lush surroundings of the lodge. Immersed in rich foliage, slumber with the night sounds enveloping you. Each treehouse suite features generous decks suspended above the forest floor and large windows invite the lush forest inside. The classically elegant bedrooms are fitted with contemporary furnishing in neutral colours and textures, overhead fans and billowing mosquito nets. The bathrooms have freestanding baths with a forest view and an outdoor shower.

Facilities
Overlooking a forest boma, or outdoor dining area, lined with traditional dugout canoes, guest areas are characterised by soaring spaces that house local artworks and tactile fabrics. An interactive kitchen allows guests to observe the preparation of delicious dishes that are enjoyed in the theatrical boma or on the open dining decks, with spectacular forest views.
The lodge has a Safari Shop featuring signature community craftwork and a range of lodge branded safari clothing, a stunning swimming pool set withing the forest and a masaga sala.




Activities




Game drives from Lake Manyara Tree Lodge explores areas of the park that cannot be reached by day visitors. Set off with your guide and traker to explore the diverse habitats of the park, stopping on the lakeshore to admire the different bird species and look for pink flamingo. You will traverse a mosaic of acacia woodlands, grassy floodplains and tall forest in search of wildlife, including Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, which may be spotted resting in favoured spots and large family herds of elephant.
Add another dimension to your daily game drives and enter the world of Africa’s nocturnal predators on a thrilling night drive. Night drives at Lake Manyara are particularly spectacular, with the moon reflecting off the lake.
Guests can enjoy a scenic guided bike ride through the Mayoka community or you can lose yourself among the treetops of Lake Manyara on a treetop canopy tour.
