Kulala Desert Lodge at the foot of the imposing Sossusvlai dunes within the Kulala Wilderness Reserve. The twenty three thatched and canvas ‘kulalas’ have been designed to merge seamlessly into its desert setting making for a stunning camp.
Each of the villas have private rooftop star beds for you to enjoy the spectacular night sky of the Namib Desert.

The accommodation at Kulala Desert Lodge consists of twenty three thoughtfully designed villas, including family villas, with twin or king size beds and comfortable seating areas. The en-suite boasts an indoor shower, single vanity and a separate w.c. The family villas include two bedrooms.
Each villa includes a small outside deck with seating area and access to the rooftop Star Bed should you wish to sleep out under the stars.
Facilities
The facilities available to guests at Kulala Desert Lodge include an indoor lounge, dining area and bar. There’s an open deck with stunning views of the surrounding area and lodge waterhole, shaded swimming pool, open fireplaces and complimentary wi-fi.

Activities available to guests of Kulala Desert Lodge include excursions into Sossusvlei and Sesriem via an exclusive use entrance, here you will be able to visit the towering sand dunes including ‘Big Daddy’.
Guided walks on the Black Mountain Trail, stargazing, guided scorpion walks and electric 'fat bike' rides into the desert are offered. Should you wish you can even take a hot air balloon ride. The wildlife to be seen here includes ostrich, gemsbok, black backed jackal, bat-eared foxes and both spotted and brown hyena.
