Positioned on the banks of the Khwai River, Khwai Bush Camp is an ideal setting for a wonderful African wilderness experience.  Meander along the river in a traditional mokoro whilst your guide points out the wildlife as you float along.

 

This camp has been especially designed to cater for families with two family suites and a dedicated children’s program, so sit back and enjoy this magical African adventure.

The accommodation at Khwai Bush Camp consists of a total of six stone and thatched chalets, two of which are designed for families.  The split-level rooms include twin or king size beds, fireplaces and a comfortable lounge area.  The en-suite facilities boast indoor showers, double vanities and separate w.c.

 

You also have a private veranda with seating that looks over the African bush.

The facilities on offer at Khwai Bush Camp include a stunning fire deck with seating, the perfect spot for a sundowner or pre-dinner drinks, sumptuous lounge area, both indoor and outdoor dining areas.

 

A sun terrace along with a sparkling pool for cool off from the African sun are also available.

Activities

The Delta offers guests an opportunity to explore the wild bush of Africa in the experienced hands of highly qualified guides.  Game drives are conducted when the predators are active in propose built open game drive vehicles.  If the opportunity presents itself, we highly recommend you accompany your guide on a bush walk to experience the African bush in the most natural way possible, your guide will point out animal tracks along with the unique plant life of the Okavango Delta.

 

The perfect way to explore the waterways of the Delta is by traditional mokoro, your guide with gently steer you through this stunning setting pointing out all the wildlife along the way or visit the local community and learn how to survive the African bush.
