Kapama is a stunning 16 000 hectare private game reserve within the Greater Kruger Park. With over forty species of mammals including the Big 5 and the elegant cheetah, guests here have can witness the African bush at its best.

 

Kapama’s newest and flagship lodge, Karula, is the perfect place to be.  Enjoy the luxury of heated private pools, viewing decks looking over the bush, state of the art gym & spa facilities and first-class menus, prepared just for you.  Karula is an indulgence you really could get used too!

Kapama also offers guests an opportunity to sleep under the stars in the Romantic Sleepout.  This private high platform is the perfect place to truly get a sense of the wild.

The superior villas have huge glass sliding doors to give an outdoor living feel and masses of space to relax.  Slide open your doors and take a dip in your heated private pool or sit on your private viewing deck whilst sipping on a refreshing drink and watching the wildlife pass by.   Each villa boasts king size beds, air-conditioning, fans, indoor and outdoor showers as well as a bathtub, fully stocked mini bar and Nespresso coffee machine.

 

The superior family villas also offer an open plan living style, a heated swimming pool and a second bedroom for the children.  This room includes a games console, flat screen TV and movies on tap to amuse the young ones allowing you a little uninterrupted ‘me time’.

The Main Lodge offers a stunning viewing deck and modern guest lounge area.  It also has a media area, library, well stocked wine cellar, curio shop and wellness spa.

At Kapama there’s a number of options for you to enjoy.  Twice daily game drives with your experienced ranger and tracker will ensure that your get some superb sightings of the Big 5 and so much more besides. Participate in an insightful bush walk to learn about the flora & flauna that’s all around you.

 

For those keen photographers out there, Kapama offers a two-day photographic workshop to help you get that perfect shot.  Your expert wildlife photographer with join you on game drives to provide tips and direction ensuring that you go home with the wildlife shot to remember.
