Kanga Camp is set within a private concession within the famous Mana Pools National Park overlooking Kanga Pan.  Kanga Pan is the only water source for miles during the dry season so the ‘Elephant Pool’ at camp becomes very active so you can watch herds of elephants come to the pan to drink and play.

 

Kanga Camp is open during the dry season (April – November).

The accommodation at Kanga Camp consists of just six Meru style tents each with king size or twin beds and wrapped in netting for a romantic feel, comfortable seating is also provided should you wish to sit indoors.  The en-suite facilities include double vanities and an outdoor shower along with a free standing bathtub.

 

Each tent boasts a small private veranda with seating and views.

The facilities on offer at Kanga Camp include a sparkling splash pool with sun deck and views of Kanga Pan.  A dining and lounge area, bar and elevated viewing decks with fire pit complete the facilities at Kanga.

Activities

Activities

Kanga Camp offers guests an opportunity to explore the wild bush of Mana Pools National Park in the experienced hands of highly qualified guides.  Game drives are conducted in the morning and afternoon when the predators are active in purpose built open game drive vehicles. 

 

We also highly recommend you accompany your guide on a bush walk safari, your guide will point out wildlife, animal tracks along with the unique plant life of Mana Pools.
