The Grootbos Private Nature Reserve overlooks the stunning Walker Bay and forms part of South Africa’s famous Garden Route. 

 

Due to its perfect location there are endless activities open to guests from ocean based, great white shark cage diving and whale watching to walking, hiking, biking or horse riding along the many trails within the reserve.  Try a botanical 4x4 tours or coastal safari and learn about the wonderful flora & fauna of South Africa’s unique south coast.

The beautiful four bedroom private villa includes 1 master bedroom with a free standing bathtub, walk-in rain shower and three luxury en-suite bedrooms. 

 

All the bedrooms have air-conditioning, gown & slippers, signature guest toiletries and hairdryers.

The facilities at the private villas include large swimming pools with sun decks, covered verandas, lounge areas with cozy fireplaces, underfloor heating, air-conditioning, bar, satellite TV and DVD player.

 

These exclusive use villas also include a full kitchen, private chef, butler and guide.

Activities

Activities

There is an array of activities open to guests, traversing the reserve on horseback is a fabulous way to see the animals and plant life. Try the botanical 4x4 tour in the company of an experienced guide.  There are a number of walking and hiking trails available, or hop on a mountain or quad bike and explore.

 

For those looking for something a little more relaxing, try one of the two beauty salons available to guests, wonder down to the beach, take a scenic flight or simply sit on the viewing deck and enjoy the birdlife. For those wanting to get a little closer to the water, try a whale watching boat trip or for those brave enough, great white shark cage diving. *Some activities are at an additional cost and/or are seasonal
