Mana Pools National Park remains one of the last truly remote destinations in Southern Africa.  Named after the many pools and lagoons within the park and home to pods of hippos.  The park sits on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River where you can expect to see huge herds of elephant and buffalo come down to drink from its cool waters.

Chikwenya is a beautifully designed camp where each guest tent has breath-taking views of the Zambezi River and of a dense forest of Natel mahogany trees that provides welcome shade, the trees drop their protein rich pods during the summer months and these pods are a favourite with the local elephants, bringing them close to camp.
