With just eleven suites all overlooking the beautiful Lake Kariba, Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is a stunning location for a combined land and water based safari holiday.  The private concession on which it is located holds four of the Big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Elephant and Buffalo) in plenty numbers makes for an exciting safari.

 

Here you also have the opportunity to take to the water and try your hand at tiger fishing or a water safari to watch the herds of elephant and buffalo come down to the water’s edge.

The accommodation at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge consists of ten stunning suites each with king size beds and wrapped in netting for that romantic feel, comfortable seating is also provided should you wish to sit indoors but still have a view of the lake.  The en-suite facilities include double vanities and indoor/outdoor showers along with a free standing bathtub.

 

Each suite boasts a private veranda with seating and stunning views.

Bumi Hills Safari Lodge offers guests an opportunity to explore the wild bush of Africa in the experienced hands of highly qualified guides.  Game drives are conducted in the morning and afternoon when the predators are active in purpose built open game drive vehicles.  We highly recommend you accompany your guide on a bush walk, your guide will point out animal tracks along with the unique plant life of the area.

 

The perfect way to explore the Lake Kariba is on a boat, let your guide steer you through this stunning setting pointing out all the wildlife along the way, or for a thrill, try your hand at some tiger fishing out on the lake.
