For any budding wildlife photographer Zimanaga is a must, with its specialized, air-conditioned photographic hides, experienced guides and photographic workshops you won’t fail to get your perfect shot.

The suites at Zimanga is both luxurious and modern in design with six double suites and four single occupancy suites all having stunning views over the valley. Each suite is beautifully designed with wood finishings, free standing bathtub and wet room styled showers, both with views looking over the bush.

 

The four single occupancy suites do not have any single supplement applied, making them excellent value for money for any single traveller.

The facilities at the lodge include a beautifully designed guest lounge area which overlooks the rim-flow pool and sun deck.  Dining is conducted in the stunning dining room, out on the sun deck or in the traditional boma.

 

Climb the floating stairway to the rooftop for stunning views over the reserve and the Lebombo mountain range in the distance.

Activities

Game drives are conducted in open game drive vehicles with your expert ranger.

 

However, any visit to Zimanga is all about the hides.  With six specially designed air-conditioned photographic hides; two bird bath hides (Mkhombe & Bhejane) for small bird photography, the Lagoon Hide for water birds and crocs, Overnight Hide focusing on large mammals and the mobile Bee Eater Hide, this truly is a photographer’s dream destination.
