Mana Pools National Park remains one of the last truly remote destinations in Southern Africa.  Named after the many pools and lagoons within the park and home to pods of hippos.  The park sits on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River where you can expect to see huge herds of elephant and buffalo come down to drink from its cool waters.

Little Ruckomechi is an intimate camp of just three stunning guest tents each with a breath-taking view of the Zambezi River and set amongst iconic albida trees. The camp conveys the dreamy romance of a bygone era.

Little Ruckomechi consists of just three luxury tents, each with king size beds draped with dreamy mosquito netting, ceiling fans, luxurious soft furnishings and tea & coffee making facilities.  The en-suite facilities include an indoor shower, double vanities and separate w.c.

Step out and enjoy your magical view of the Zambezi River from your private wooden veranda.

The facilities on offer at Little Ruckomechi include a sparkling pool, idea for cooling off during the lazy afternoons, surrounded by a wooden deck with loungers.  A raised guest lounge and dining area and bar.

Try a spot of bird-watching from the lodge’s swing seats or a pre-dinner drink around the camp fire.

Activities available to guests at Little Ruckomechi include exploring the wild bush of Mana Pools National Park in the experienced hands of highly qualified guides.  Twice daily game drives are conducted in the early morning and afternoon when it’s cooler and the predators are most active. Try a bush walk, where your guide will point out the smaller things within the park such as animal spoor, unique plants and trees along with the numerous birds that call this park home.

Take to the lower Zambezi water for a gentle kayak, this will give you a whole new perspective of the area or a stunning boat cruise to watch the beautiful African sun set for another day.
